Max skating in Plymouth, August 2011

A selection of fashion photography taken for a modelling portfolio during August 2011.
A 4 day University brief, a short, sharp brief exploring many avenues to communicate specific scenes from this well known narrative. By using simple shapes for character representations using a very hands on approach. This worked best because it’s the core child like, naive nature of the story.
Foxy.
Three colour silkscreen print of the foxy bike rider and dip die t-shirts being sold as part of my Summer Show exhibition at Plymouth College of Art in June 2011.
I sold my work and arranged a print-to-order system through the duration of the show.
University brief; design a data system which documents every item of clothing you have with you in Falmouth.
My idea was inspired by the dewey catalogue system used within libraries. I Developed my own coding system, each label displays the type of garment, it’s colour, whether or not it is patterned and where/ how I bought the item.
University Brief: Create a book in response to a childhood memory, my memory was getting told off for stroking a goat on a family holiday in France. My story focusses on the comparisons between me at the time and the French old lady, the page spread acting as a divide. I wanted to paint this perfect story of a childhood memory, similar to a style I was used to seeing in children’s books. The old lady is depicted in a typically French cartoon style, not really aware the background with only until she shouts at me, the styles clash and my holiday has been completely disrupted.
